Becoming a Christian is so simple. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is God's son then claim Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. When we become a Christian, a follower of the one true God, we are sealed with God's promise of eternal life. Nothing we have done in the past can prevent us from becoming a Christian.
Once we are Christians, God's Holy Spirit lives in our hearts, giving us a new perspective on life. As Christians, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. In Romans 8, we read Paul's comforting, reassuring words, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created things shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
