LISA YOUNG



Good Morning!



Sometimes when we wish someone a Happy Birthday, they respond, “Well, it beats the

alternative.”  Those of us who know Jesus, know that this is not true.  While we enjoy

our life on this earth and are in no particular hurry to leave it, we know that when we

do leave it, we will go to be with Jesus in Heaven.  The Bible tells us that Heaven is a

place where “…there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.  There shall be no

more pain…”



As inhabitants of an imperfect world, we cannot even imagine the wonders of Heaven

and the perfect peace and happiness that we will find when we get there.  In the words

of the old hymn, “When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! 

When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!”



If you do not already know Jesus, I urge you to get to know Him.  Central United

Methodist Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday.  We have a

contemporary worship service at 8:30 and a traditional service at 10:55 with Sunday

School at 9:45.
