Good Morning:
This is a busy, busy time of year. We just got through Halloween and
Thanksgiving and now are getting ready for Christmas. With all the hustle
and bustle of shopping, decorating, cooking and planning, let's not forget
that Jesus is the reason for the season.
When I asked some of the four year olds at the Children's Center what was
the best thing about Christmas, they naturally said, getting lots of presents.
I told them the story of Jesus' birth and told them how the wise men
brought gifts to the baby Jesus. I like to think that this is the reason we give
gifts to one another......to remember those precious gifts the wise men
brought to a precious baby. Remind your children of that and help them to
understand that Christmas is celebrated only because of a tiny baby. No
other reason. Have a wonderful day!
