Good morning! This is Bob Peden of Central a United Methodist Community. Do you ever feel forgotten? Forgotten by your acquaintances, your friends, your family. I can assure you that you have not been forgotten by God.
How can I be so sure that God has not forgotten you? God says in the 47th chapter of the book of Isaiah, See, I have engraved your name on the palms of my hands. With your name engraved in God's palms, he cannot possibly forget.
God cares for you. God loves you. God wants only what is best for you. There is nothing you can do that will erase your name from God's palm. It was engraved in his palms with the nails of the cross. He desires to save you from yourself.
Your name is engraved in the palms of God's hands. He will never leave you. He will never forget you. That is God's good news for you today.
