Hi! I’m Bob Rambo, Lead Pastor at Central United Methodist Church.
On January 8th, we invite you to join us for an 8-week sermon series we call “Lessons from Hollywood.” Each week during this series, we’ll use a movie that demonstrates an important biblical truth or principle.
People sometimes ask me: Why do you use movies? Nothing good comes out of Hollywood! That’s often true. But we need to realize that in our culture, movies tell “stories” – which means they function a lot like “parables.”
Beginning January 8th, we invite you to join us as we use movies – these “modern parables” – to learn more about life, faith, and God.
We worship each Sunday at 8:30 or 10:55. Why not join us at Central, where everyone is welcome?!
