Good Morning! One of my favorite analogies is
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s
probably a duck.
But the truth is a duck is pretty easily identified. Not so with sin. Sin CAN
be dark and ugly, or it can be camouflaged to be VERY appealing and
beautiful. If gone unchecked, it drives us away from God, ruins our self
esteem, alienates us from others and breaks relationships.
God calls us to be holy people. God gives us the power to turn from sin if
we only turn to Him. When we work at building our relationships, we are
being holy. When we seek God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength,
and love our neighbor as ourselves...we are choosing to be Holy, made in the
image of God.
A duck is easily identified as a duck. Are WE easily identified as a child of
God or camouflaged in our words vs. our actions? Begin today with Psalm
19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be
pleasing to you, O Lord, My rock and my redeemer. Have a blessed day!
