Good morning! This is Bob Peden of Central, a United Methodist Community here in Meridian. Have you experienced God's blessings this morning? Have you stopped this morning to thank God for his blessings? The food we eat, the air we breathe, the fact that we awoke this morning, all of these, and much more, are blessings from God.
But know that God's blessings are a tricky business. For as we read through the Holy Scriptures we find that God never blesses anyone without the expectation that they will share those blessings with others.
We sometimes think God blesses us so that we can sit back and enjoy his blessings, and that sharing God's blessings means telling others just how blessed we are. But that is not what God means when he says that we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.
When you feel God's blessings today, find ways to pass those blessings on to those less fortunate than you. Then God's blessings will truly multiply.
