SABRINA

Before the week is out, ghosts, goblins, superheros and princesses will take to the streets, and for a short period of time, go from door to door, not as themselves, but disguised as the person they want to be.

As adults, we often find ourselves in disguise – and not for fun! Does today find you with a smile on your face, laughing and joking with those around you, when inside you are crying and alone? When Robin Williams recently died at his own hand, the world was stunned! How could a person who brought so much laughter and joy to the world ever think of himself as alone and unworthy? The fact is that at different times in our lives we have all worn a mask, not wanting the world to know our inner thoughts and feelings.

If today finds you feeling alone, desperate and depressed, I encourage you to reach out to someone close to you. NOTHING is so bad that given time it will not get better. I also invite you to find love and acceptance here at Central. We are a COMMUNITY of faith, not without warts and problems, but walking ALONGSIDE each other, following our God!  Come join us.
