The Gospel of John is the most unique of the 4 biblical gospels and contains beloved stories of Jesus not found in the other three.
I invite you to come to Central United Methodist church to hear world renowned New Testament scholar and prolific writer, Dr. Ben Witherington III of Asbury Theological Seminary lecture on the Gospel of John on April 15-17.
I had the privilege of taking one of Dr. Witherington’s classes in seminary, and I am thrilled that Meridian has the opportunity to learn from him too. He is considered one of the top evangelical scholars in the world, yet his down home sense of humor and North Carolina accent make his presentation understandable and enjoyable for all.
