Good Morning!
Isn’t it funny how tiring it is to serve God for one hour, but how quickly a team plays sixty minutes of basketball? Isn’t it funny how long a couple of hours spent at church are, but how short they are when watching a movie? Isn’t it funny how thrilled we get when a basketball game goes extra endings, but we complain when a sermon is longer than usual? Isn’t it funny how we can’t think of anything to say when we pray, but how easy it is to chat with a friend? Isn’t it funny how we want a front seat at a concert, but scramble to get a back seat at church?
Attitude is everything. We choose how we think about each event in life. In Psalm 100 we read, “Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing and enter His gates with Thanksgiving.” We can have an attitude of gratitude or bitterness. The choice is ours to make.
