On May 26, 1942, these words were broadcasted over Radio Tokyo. “The British and American fleets cannot appear on the oceans. The Japanese people can look forward to a triumphant march into London and a victory march in New York.” How different the world would be today if the other side had gained the victory in World War II. The prayers of thousands of God's people contributed to the Allied victory.
Today is Memorial Day. I hope you will join me in thanking God for all the brave men and women who have given their lives that we may be free and safe. Young U.S. military personnel die every day in an effort to make the world a better place to live. You are free to pray for them if you wish.
