Hi!  I'm Bob Rambo, Lead Pastor at Central United Methodist Church.

In the last few months, there have been an unbelievable number of natural disasters at home and around the world.  Flooding along the Mississippi River, tornadoes in Mississippi and Alabama, and a major earthquake in Japan have left many reeling.  People wonder - Where is God in all this? - as if God somehow causes these events.

We live in a world that is inherently RISKY, a world in which things sometimes just happen.  God is seldom responsible and certainly not to blame.  However, we CAN often see God's presence - in the AFTERMATH: in the loving, caring, helping acts of those who come to aid those in need; in the ways people come together and face crisis in unity.

If you want to see God's presence - and if you want others to see Him too - then let God work through you to help those in need.
