Too often, the Bible feels like an outdated history book. We often forget that those we read about were, indeed, people just like us! Now imagine what it was like to live and work in a dusty, bustling city along the Nile - Of what must have gone through the mind of a young boy, by the name of Joseph, who endured heartbreaking trials, discouraging moments of hopelessness, joyous victories, and tear-filled celebrations. We find that through EVERY circumstance, Joseph proclaimed a steadfast faith in God.
If you know of a child 4 year - 5th grade who needs or would like to experience life in the Old Testament, I invite you to join us, next week, June 13th - 17th, 9 AM - 12 Noon, as we are immersed in Egypt, experiencing new traditions, tasting new foods, trying new crafts, and discovering that God NEVER leaves us alone, then join us for Egypt - Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace.
This hand’s on, inter-active week, promises to be one that children will not soon forget, and the lessons learned of God’s faithfulness in ALL situations will follow them for years to come!
