Beginning September 21, Central United Methodist Church is once again offering our Annual Divorce Recovery Workshop for both adults and children,
If you find yourself at the end or a marriage or relationship that was entered into with excitement, dreams, and reverence, you may find that not only are your dreams shattered but your confidence also.
Separation and Divorce can be a time when the raw emotions of hurt, anger and guilt become the focus of each day. Statistics show that over 1 million children are affected by divorce each year. These children experience a tremendous loss of security and trust.
Divorce Recovery is a seven week program with offers counseling by local physicians, attorneys, and therapists, as well as support, fellowship and encouragement for those dealing with divorce or separation. A children's workshop for students 1st - 8th grade is also held in conjunction with the Adult Workshop.
