Good Morning!

Once there were 2 farmers who couldn’t get along to save their lives. A wide ravine separated their farms, but as a sign of their mutual hatred, each constructed a fence on his side of the ravine to keep the other out.

In time, however, the daughter of one of the men met the son of the other, and the two kids fell in love with one another, determined not to be kept apart by their fathers, they tore down the walls and used the wood to build a bridge across the chasm.

Confession does that for the soul. Confessed sin becomes the bridge that allows us to walk back into the presence of God.  Is there a chasm between you and God? Are you keeping anything from Him? Bad behavior? Bad Attitude? Doubt? Tell God about it right now. Tear down the barricades and build a bridge back to Him today.

When you have a moment to yourself read the 32nd Psalm. What happened to David when he kept silent about his wrongs? What changed when he confessed? Don’t you feel closer to your friends who trust you enough to tell you everything? That is exactly what God wants from us!
