RAMBO

Hi!  I'm Bob Rambo, Lead Pastor at Central United Methodist Church.  For the past year, I've been part of the “Leadership Lauderdale” program - an opportunity to spend a year learning about our community, our county, and how we can be part of improving life here.

We've had outstanding leadership in this event - and a few weeks ago, we had our FINAL session.  One of the speakers talked with us about the difference between a MANAGER and a LEADER.  He said:
a MANAGER is someone who does things RIGHT
a LEADER is someone who does the RIGHT thing

Those words spoke to me.  Often we focus on “doing things RIGHT” - but how often do we ponder what it means to “do the RIGHT thing”?

Jesus often clashed with people who were preoccupied with doing things “right” - but he was constantly encouraging people to put their trust in God and do the “right” thing.

Today - I pray that I [and you] will do the RIGHT things.

Make it a GREAT day!
