JULIA GREEN

Good Morning:

I'm Julia Green, a member of Central United Methodist Church.  January is one of my most favorite months in the year, because to me, the

start of a New Year is always an opportunity for a new beginning and a fresh focus.  What better place to start than with our relationship with

our heavenly Father!  By resolving to spend more time with God in His Word and in His Presence, we can experience life with His peace and

His assurance.

I want to invite you to join us at Central on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. as we study Rene Swope's new book A Confident Heart, how to stop

doubting yourself and live in the security of God's promises. In her book, Rene bravely points out that “God is asking us to take his hand and

trust his heart.” In Hebrews 10:23, God reminds us of his commitment and love for us when he says, “Let us hold firmly to the hope that we

have confessed because we can trust God to do what he has promised.”
