With what or with whom are you in love. Pedro Arrupe is a former Secretary General of the Society of Jesus, more commonly called the
Jesuits. He had this to say about being in love. “What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the mornings, what you will do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, who you
know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.”
He goes on to say that nothing is more practical than falling in love with God, in a most absolute and final way. Are you in love with God? Do
you get out of bed to fulfill his will for your life? Do you spend your evenings planning his work and spend your weekends in his presence?
Does your heart break when you see that which breaks God's heart? Are you in love with God? Ask yourself that as you go about your daily
activities today.
