KRISTINA

Good Morning, I am Kristina Crabtree, Minister of Spiritual Formation at Central United Methodist Church. Happiness. It is a virtue, a like style that we all strive to have in our lives. I was reading an article the other day about researchers from Harvard doing a study on happiness. Over the last 75 years, the researchers from Harvard have been studying 724 men. They would track their life style, choices, state of their homes, and their health. Robert Waldeinger sums the results of 75 years of study by saying “It has nothing to do with fame or wealth or working harder.

The real lesson from these lives is: “Good relationships keep us happier and healthier.” Have you ever noticed in the creation story that God said 7 times that all creation was good, but did you notice Gen. 2:18 saying, “It is not good for man to be alone.” Relationships are what represent the very nature and personality of the triune God. That is why at Central we value saying life is better connected. So lets rekindle those relationships that are broken. We are created in the image of God to be in relationship. Have a great day!
