Good morning everyone. I am Dennis Gossett with Central United Methodist Church. Recently, I saw a video of a man sitting in a lawn chair in the middle of a big green pasture. The man also had a musical instrument with him. The video showed the man playing this instrument, and moments later, in the background, cattle started to appear. The longer he played, the more cattle appeared in the pasture. They kept coming closer and closer until they were surrounding his chair.
Jesus tells his opponents that those who follow him know his voice when he calls them. He said I am the Shepherd and they are my sheep. He also goes on to say that there are those who do not know his voice. Do you know your Shepherd’s voice? It is a fact that there are many voices calling out to you in this world. The question is, which one will you answer? It is also a fact that Jesus is the only one who can lead you to eternal life. You or someone you know may be lost and wandering without a shepherd. The good news is that Jesus is looking for you. I invite you to Central to come and hear the good news of your shepherd. God Bless.
