SABRINA

(Background video with no sound)

A little boy, playing

the part of the

innkeeper in the

Christmas play, had

only one line.  His one line was to say to Joseph and Mary,'There is no

room at the inn!'

This line began to

trouble the young boy.  He did not want to play the part of the

calloused person who

had turned away the

baby Jesus.

He was reminded over and over that it was just fine...it was part of the Christmas story.

On the night of the

performance, however, when

Mary and Joseph

knocked on the door

of the inn, the little

boy opened it and

said, 'There is no room at the inn.'

Then he quickly

added, 'But you can

come in for a cup of

hot chocolate!'”

During the seasons of

Advent and Christmas, our minds

are focused on

buying gifts, decorating, and parties.  However, let

us not forget the true reason for Christmas, in celebrating God coming to us in the form of a baby...living among us, teaching us, saving us. The best Christmas gift we can

give to Christ is the gift of ourselves.  It is, after all, what He did for us!
