BOB
Good morning. This is Bob Peden of Central United Methodist Church.
To be conscious about something is to be aware of it. I ask God to help me remember that He gave me life. I Thank Him for the gift of life. I pray for Him to teach me to slow down, to be still and enjoy the pleasures created for me. To be aware of the beauty that surrounds me. The calmness of lakes, the fragility of a flower petal fluttering in the wind, the majesty of mountains, the rolling of the seas, the marvel of an oak tree, covered in spanish moss, swaying in the breeze. I need to remember that all these things come from God. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift.
