Good Morning: When Corrie Ten Boom and her sister
Betsy were transferred to Ravensbruk, the worst German
prison camp, they found the barracks extremely
overcrowded and horribly infested with fleas. They had
been able to smuggle a Bible into their camp. After reading
their morning devotional where the Lord reminded them to
rejoice always, pray constantly, and give thanks in all
circumstances, Betsy suggested they stop and thank God
for every detail of their new living quarters.... even the fleas.
If the guards had found out they had a Bible, they would
have been punished horribly. However, the guards never
came into their barracks. You know why? Because of the
fleas.
Perhaps you are dealing with some difficult circumstances
today. But who knows? There may be a purpose beyond
our understanding! Let's choose to trust the Lord and
maintain an attitude of thankfulness in every situation.
Bless those fleas in your life! God may be using them to
