GLENDA

Good Morning: Have you ever heard of a man called Wrong
Way Riegels? Roy Riegels played football for the Univ. of
California. During a game with Georgia Tech, he recovered
a fumble and ran 65 yards in the wrong direction. One of
his teammates tackled him at the 3 yard line.  California
attempted a punt, but Georgia Tech blocked it and scored a
safety which was the ultimate margin of victory.

Riegels was devastated and cried like a baby in the locker
room during halftime. When Coach Nibs Price announced
that the same team who played the first half would play the
second, Roy said he just could not do it. He could not go
back out there. Coach Price told Roy, “Get up and get back
out there. The game is only half over.” Roy went back into
the game and played like he never had before.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of a second
chance. No matter how badly we've blown it, no matter how
many times we fail, we can start over. So today is the day
for a fresh start. Get back in the game! The second half has
