BOB

Do you live in a world of scarcity? Or a world of plenty? Most of us choose to live in a world of scarcity. We worry we do not have enough to feel secure, so we continually strive to earn more, have more, and or save more. We fear we will never have enough to own the house we dream of or the car we wish we had or the right clothes. We fear we will not have enough to retire on, so we continually save more.

But there is another choice. We can choose to live in a land of plenty. When the house, car, clothes you have are enough, then you don't need more. When you trust the future, you do not have to save more and more for retirement.

God's plan is that all of us have plenty. This is Bob Peden of Central United Methodist Church. I encourage you today to choose to live in God's land of plenty. If you do, you will find that not only do you have enough for yourself, but you have more than enough to share with those around you. It is your choice.
